I'm not too happy of the outcome but I guess that's ok. Many of you requested that I make a video of how I paint in Photoshop well here it is!

took much much more hours than expected to edit this but I hope you'll enjoy it

The piece is already beautiful and eerie, and then I see the kids playing ball and it's a whole new level of eerie and amazing. It tells a story, that to them this freakish place is normal. It's a mind-trip and I'm freaking out. My favorite kind. Also, love the several centuries of ships you have in there, extra unsettling.

Quite late watcher of your work, saw you being featured at Its Art. Anyways, do you create all your own custom made shape brushes? Maybe I should do the same, tho it seems a hell of a work :).

Loved watching the video of your process, it was very insightful. I love how it started out very abstract. I realize I really need to work on just playing with shapes and conversation to begin with. Anyway I love the piece, quick question though. When you were going from b&w to color, what blending mode were you using for the color layers? I've always had issues trying to colorize my greyscale images, they always end up way too contrasty and dark. Any insight would be much appreciated!

thanks for your comment, the layer mod I use mostly depend of the color and the pattern I'm using so it's changing every time and I then end up painting on top of it.
