I'm still a bit bugged on this one about the composition, I'll just leave it like that.

Inspired by the game Crysis, I used basic 3d models for the vertebra shape in Maya

The lower lighting and coloration of the piece is so sweet! :D And I also really like the lack of coloration which contrasts it towards the top. Also, great exoskeletal feel!
Crysis was such an incredible game, visually and audibly (thank you H. Zimmer!). :3
